Lights

We have gone to see Christmas light twice this Holiday Season!

Once was at our local park!

Their lights definitely are not the traditional Christmas lights!

It's a whole bunch of animals and mythical creatures a set up so you can walk through them!

Even though they aren't your typical lights it was a lot of fun! Emeri loved all the different animals

Kyler loves seeing all the lights too!

Then a couple weekends ago we went down to Temple Square!

This is one of the family traditions we do every year!

Emeri really loves riding the train down and yelling "all aboard" every time we stop and go!

Emeri always points out the Angel Moroni on all temples! She was trilled to see him so she could say "do-doooo-do-doooooo!"

We took a quick break inside the Joseph Smith Memorial Building!

Emeri promptly found a pamphlet and a chair to sit down and read!

I couldn't get over how cute Kyler was all bunddled up in his bear snow suite! 

On the way home Emeri was admiring herself in the folding doors on Trax and every time I got in front of her so she couldn't see herself she would yell for me to move so she could see Emeri! 

If we were to get her a mirror for her room I don't think we would ever see her again that's how much she loves looking at herself! hahahaha

It was a fun night even if the weather wet and cold! We have little troopers!

Tea and Cookies

Emeri got this cute little cooking set from her Grandma for her birthday and she loves it! 

I have never drank so much Tea and eaten so many Cookies in my life! 

She's quite the little cook!

Stats

Emeri had her 2 year checkup and Kyler had his 2 month checkup last week!

Both kiddos are as healthy as can be!

Here are the stats for their checkups:

Emeri

No shots (thank goodness)

Height 33.7 inches 50th percentile 

Weight 24 lbs 5 oz 20th percentile

BMI 10th percentile

Kyler

3 shots : ( but he took them like a champ! 

Height 23.8 inches 75th percentile 

Weight 15 lbs 1oz He is way off the chart so the doctor just said >95th percentile

BMI 85th percentile

It's crazy to me that these two kiddos are on complete opposite sides of the growing charts! 

After looking at Emeri's chart I realized that she weighed 18 lbs at her 1 year check up and Kyler weighs 15 lbs and he's only 2 months old! He is going to pass his sister in no time! 

We are so grateful to have such healthy kiddos! 

LOVE THESE TWO! 

Snowman

Emeri and I took advantage of the fresh snow fall Saturday morning!

We went outside and built an AWESOME snowman! 

She's ready to get to work!

Our goal was to make a snowman as tall as Emeri! 

The snow was such perfect snowman making snow we were able to exceeded our goal! 

 Once the snowman had his eyes, nose, arms, and smile on I asked Emeri to stand my her snowman and smile and this is what I got!

These Two

These two are great friends already! 

and the cutest pair I have ever seen!

First of all please notice Emeri's morning 'do!

Yes, Kyler is almost as big as Emeri and he is only 2 months old!

Baby Ky loves laying on his play mat and Emeri loves laying with him and shaking all the toys so it keeps both of them very entertained! 

She also likes to go and get books, lay down, and read them to him! 

Oh these two! 

It's so fun watching the beginning of a very special friendship! 

Setting the Table

Emeri set the table for tacos all by herself!

(Except for the hot meat of course!)

When Braeden got home she was so proud to show daddy what she had done! 

(I love how everything is crowded in one spot on the table!)

Kyler has discovered his hands and boy are they deeeeelicious!

Honestly he didn't care what he was wearing he was just ready for a nap and mom was tugging and pulling getting him ready for church!

2 year check up and 2 month check up today! I'm pretty sure both of them have to get shots!

Can't Get Enough

Laundry

I was folding laundry on our bed with Kyler and Emeri decided she needed to join us!

 She sat and read to Kyler while I folded all the laundry! 

It was the best system we have found yet! 

Both kids happy and entertained while I get chores done doesn't happen very often!

I definitely had to take a picture! 

The look on both of their faces is like "really mom?"

Blessing and Birthday

My beautiful baby boy was blessed by his daddy on Sunday!

 His daddy gave him a wonderful blessing! 

His Grandma Franny made him this handsome tux and his Grandma Kathy crocheted him a beautiful blanket!

Since we had both our families together we thought we would do Emeri's party on Sunday as well instead of trying to get everyone together again next week! 

(We are going to do a birthday bash for her this summer when it's warm outside and invite all her little friends!)

The torture was over she finally got to see what was inside that big box!

She got spoiled and loves all the gifts she got! 

I think I'm just as excited as she is for all the fun things she got!

Since then she has learned how to scoot and she now scoots all over our apartment!
