"My Friends"

Braeden's Aunt and Uncle Diana and Spencer and their two kiddos Cora and Ivy came to visit and we had a great time with them for the week or so that they were here!
Cora and Ivy are both right around Emeri's age so she had a blast!
She called them "My friends" and wanted to be with them 24/7!
After meeting them they were the first thing she asked for in the morning and she didn't quite understand why they got to sleep at Grandma Kathy's house every night and she didn't!!
We definitely took advantage of the time we had with them and made sure by the end of the time they were here that everyone was exhausted!

Here's some of the fun stuff we did with them:

We went and played at Discovery Gateway for hours and had a blast!

Cora hiding in the ball!

Emeri being a little crane operator!

Emeri grocery shopping!

Playing in the water!

Once Emeri found this Lawnmower she was very posessive of it!
She read to it...

Mowed the carpet...

And even took it for a ride in the backseat of the car!
hahaha

While all the girls were running around having the time of their lives Kyler was having a grand time watching everyone and hanging out with Gary!

After Discovery Gateway we were off to City Creek to get two little girls ears pierced and to visit the Disney store!

Emier and Cora being crazy while waiting for Trax!

Ky giving mom big smiles behind his binky!

Then a couple days later we were off to the zoo!

All the girlies checking out the elephants!

"Where are we going next mom?"

Ky chilling in the stroller playing with his toys!
He was a huge trooper while we were at the zoo and all week!

PASSED OUT!

Riding the carousel!
Emeri picked the zebra and was really excited until it started going up and down!
She then told me she was all done and wanted off immediately! : )

(I really need to stop asking her to smile for me because I keep getting this awful face!)
: )

The this thing moves face!

The "Mom I'm not so sure about this anymore!" look!
Right after that she asked to get down!

  Ivy riding the otter!

Cora riding the giraffe!

We had so much fun while they were here and Emeri keeps talking about her friends Cora and Ivy!
We miss you guys already and look forward to seeing you guys again soon!
Thanks for playing with us so much!

Good Morning

This is how our morning went today!

As soon as Emeri heard Kyler this morning she immediately took off to his room!
This is what I found!
Huge smiles from both my kiddos!
Mornings can't start any better than that!

We called Braeden to say good morning!
This is Kyler's way of talking on the phone with his dad!

Emeri then decided it was time to go to "work" so she got her shoes, hat, and purse on and was headed out the door!
I asked her if she was missing anything and she said no! hahaha
I then informed her that she was going to freeze if she didn't put clothes on so she got dressed! And then she headed off to "work"!
She had a grand time going in and out the front door pretending over and over that she was going and getting home from work!

After lunch it was bath time!

Look how FREAKING ADORABLE Kyler is fresh out of the bath in his little robe!
Doesn't he look WAY older than 6 months in this picture?

Tuesdays are my lest favorite days of the week because Braeden has school, but today has been a great day so far!
I LOVE MY KIDS!

Easter

Saturday March 30th

We woke up early to head to the church for our annual ward primary Easter egg hunt!
(Emeri usually doesn't roll out of bed until around 10 and the hunt was at 10 so we had to wake her up early!)
She insisted on wearing her Rapunzel hat that her Aunty Diana made for her which also meant she some how talked me out of combing her hair that morning too! : )

Shoes on, jacket on, Rapunzel hat on, bucket in hand she is ready to go!

Thankfully the ward splits the kiddos up into age groups so the little kids get to go out first and don't get trampled on my the other kids! This also meant that Emeri got to take her sweet time picking what eggs she wanted! She is definitely not one of those kids that just pick up any egg she sees it's quit the decision for her!

The face she is making in this picture is such a Braeden/Toren face it's not even funny!

If you look closely you can see majority of the eggs that are in her basket are the metallic ones! She was very strategic when it came to choosing those 15 eggs that she got! : )

Just walking home with my candy! BLISS!

This is the face I get when I ask her to smile for mom! Isn't that a GREAT smile face! : )
hahahaha
OH DEAR!

Later on that afternoon we dyed Eater eggs!
Emeri decided to eat one however, she learned very quickly that she was not a fan of the whole yoke in her mouth! hahaha
Oh and I must mention that we she did really well with the dye until the very last egg at which time she spilt the pink dye off the table and all over the carpet! : ( We almost made it!

Easter Morning Sunday March 31st

Enjoying some jelly beans from her Easter basket!

All ready for church in their new Easter outfits!

Can you say attitude?

Seriously look how adorable my little family is!

We headed outside to take a few pictures and instead of cooperating for pictures Emeri decided to fly around like an airplane!

She finally sat down to take a picture!

Creeper!
hahaha

Then she thought it would be a great idea to put grass on Ky's head! ...
Kids will be kids!

My two handsome boys in their matching ties!

After church we headed down to Grandma Kathy's for Easter dinner and another egg hunt!

Dad I need your help!

Got it!

We had a great Easter!

And can I just say that I'm grateful for our Savior and Redeemer and for the gifts of immortality and eternal life that I work towards every day! I'm thankful for what my Savior has done for me! I'm thankful that I know that my Redeemer lives! And I thankful that I know what I need to do to return to him! AMEN! : )

Shaving Cream

Sometimes we make really REALLY big messes, just because we can, and enjoy every second of it!
This time it was a whole can of shaving cream in the bathtub!
Emeri and I had a grand time playing for a long while while Braeden shook his head at us and entertained Kyler so we could! : )
(Braeden's not really a fan of being home while be make our messes!) : )

Look at how Emeri moving made this picture "swirly"!
Kind of cool!

Emeri LOVED this and a can of shaving cream is like a buck!
We definitely need to do this more often!

If you ever want to do this with your kiddos it's a lot of fun and it's really easy to clean up if you do it in the bathtub!
It all just rinsed down the drain and the mess was taken care of and your kiddos will be entertained for at least a good hour!
Be warned that the saving cream makes the tub very slippery so make sure to make the rule no standing up or they will fall and could get hurt!
: )
Happy mess making!

Jazzyman!

On Wednesday night we all threw on our Jazz gear and headed down to the Jazz game!
It was Kyler's first Jazz game!
I was a bit nervous because I wasn't sure how he was going to handle all the excitement, but he did really well!

Kyler napping on the way down!
(We rode the Frontrunner)

Emeri LOVES riding the train!

All Jazzed out!

Kyler was loving everything that was going on especially all the lights and advertisements!
(These 4 pictures crack me up!)

Enthralled!

Ecstatic!

Unsure!

Time to eat mom's face!

Emeri and Brae watching the game!
When Braeden wears this shirt Emeri calls him "Jazzyman"
hahaha
Don't know where she came up with that?
I find it quite funny! : )

We left at half time so we would get home at a reasonable hour!
This is Emeri walking backwards with her hands in her pockets on our way out!
She provides too much entertainment some times!

It was a fun night and the Jazz finally won a game!
So... thats good! : )
