Easter Wreath!

I've decided since I live in an apartment all the decorating I can do for holidays other than Christmas is a wreath on the door! Any more decorating then that, I feel, before we move into a home would just be a waste! And lets face it when we do move into a home I probably still wont decorate anymore then that, but we can hope! : )
This is the Easter Wreath I made and I got it done just in time for Easter this weekend! haha! I will leave it on my door for all of April just because I can and because I like it that much! Plus it makes me happy every time I see it! : )

Photo A Day!

Ok so... I have been so bad at blogging lately! SO BAD! So I'm going to try something new! I'm going to post a picture a day about something that has happened! I think it will be a lot of fun and get me back into the blogging mood! I'm also going to try to catch up slowly so here and there I will post a thing or two about what has happened in the past 4 months (Dec-Mar) while I have been in this non-blogging FUNK! : )

To start this is a picture of Emeri in her crib during nap time! I put her down then went back in to check on her and this is what I found... her under a blanket laughing hysterically! I have no idea why she was laughing, but I couldn't help but laugh too! This girl is so silly and makes me smile everyday!

Braeden's Graduation!

Braeden graduated from Weber State University on December 9th with a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations and Marketing! He wasn't so sure he wanted to go to his on graduation... but with some convincing he went and walk and I think he's glad he did! : ) I'm so proud of him and so grateful that my husband is such a hard worker! It's not easy working full time, supporting your family, being a great dad and husband, going to school full time, and finding time to play some basketball here and there! He really is incredible and such a good example to everyone around him! I'm one lucky lady! : ) Thanks to everyone that came and cheered Braeden on as they called his name and walked across the stage!

He's in there somewhere!

This is a good picture of our little family, but look at Emeri's pig tails aren't they the cutest! : )

Proud Mom and Dad!

Showing off the goods!
NOW WHAT you ask?  In May he is going to start his Masters Degree at Weber State (pending on getting excepted into the program, things are looking very promising)! I'm so excited that Braeden has the next semester off before he starts working on his Masters, but I'm excited for this next chapter in our lives as well! It's just one adventure after another! : )

Emeri Sillies!

Emeri has started a new thing lately! Her new favorite thing to do is put on my keys (or any other lanyard she can find) and a purse! She puts them on the first thing in the morning, crawls around with them all day (that's right she still isn't walking) and if there is a grocery bag around she will put that on too! It's seriously the cutest thing!

She has everything on while helping me with laundry!

Ready to go grocery shopping!

Having so much fun!

Love that face!

Yeah!! What??

Oh my word I love this girl!!! Here's a picture of the other silly thing she as started doing...
...Looking at you through her legs! How can you not smile and this?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This Halloween was so much fun! Braeden and I actually dressed up! We can be party poopers when it comes to these kind of things, but having kids changes everything including putting all the fun back into little things like dressing up on Halloween! : ) At Braeden's work they do a Halloween party instead of a Christmas one because it's an easier time of year to do a huge party!? The funny part is they do a Halloween party every year and this was the first time Braeden had even mentioned it to me! I guess last year he didn't want to go so he didn't even ask if I wanted too! HAHA! But like I said having kids changes everything including Braeden wanting to go to work parties now, so he can show off his cute baby in her cute duck costume! : )

We bought Emeri's costume in August I think! (I was excited to dress her up!) Once we had her costume I got the idea that we should all be farm animals! I mentioned it to Braeden and suggested he should be a COW and I would be a sheep half joking... he agreed! I was a pretty surprised to be honest I never thought Braeden would agree to dress up like a cow, but since he agreed I got to work! I found a white sweat shirt, glued some felt cow spots on it, and made him a head band with cow ears and horns! For my costume I got a white t-shirt and hot glued cotton balls (6 bags of cotton balls) all over it and made a head band with sheep ears on it as well! As you can tell they were both very simple and easy to make and it's fun to say "I made this"! : )
At Braeden's work party we even won one of the family halloween costume prizes ($25 bucks to Target) ! AWESOME! : )

On actual Halloween we went to the trunk-or-treat our ward was putting on with Kathy and Toren! Going along with the farm animal theme Kathy dressed up as a Farmer so we looked pretty cute all together! (Toren didn't dress up! Party pooper!) We got a good amount of candy, and lets be honest the candy wasn't for Emeri it was for Braeden and I! : ) Braeden told me the other day that the only reason he wanted to have kids was so he could go trick-or treating again, so it's a good thing we used Emeri to her full potential and got some candy for Daddy! : ) (Silly candy loving boy!) After trunk-or-treating we came back to our apartment, put Emeri to bed, and we all watched an episode of The Walking Dead while we had some smoothies!

The farmer and her farm animals!

Grandma and Emeri! : )

Every time anyone put candy in Emeri's bag she had to see what she got! It was really cute! : )

It was a great Halloween night! : )

Here are some more darling pictures of Emeri in her costume!LOVE HER!

oh and one more thing! Her costume has a duck tail so when she crawls it waddles back and forth! SO CUTE!

We hope everyone else had a safe fun Halloween!

Love!
