Taking a Dip at Grandmas!

My sister and I took our kidos for to Grandma Kathy's (Kathy is not technically Alex's kid's grandma, but they might as well be! Kathy loves them all the same!) for a little swimming pool sprinkler fun! We filled the swimming pool with hose water, and after slathering Emeri with sunscreen to the point she could be classified as a ghost we put her in the cold water... I thought she would want to get out right away, but she didn't mind at all! She loved it just like her warm baths! What a silly baby! : )

CheeseBall!

Eating grass!

See what I meant by ghost!

Ethan and Andrew where pushing Sammy on the swing through the sprinkler! So much fun!

Emeri was pooped after playing in the water! Can you tell?

Front Runner and Trax Rider!

Emeri and I rode Front Runner and Trax down to my sisters house the other day (over two months ago but I'm trying to catch up : ) ) and it was quite the adventure! A hour ride turned into a two hour ride! It all started as I was getting Emeri out of the car to catch the Front Runner. When we got there the Train pulled up and left! Darn it! So we had to wait 30 min for the next Train to come! Once we got on the Train it was a lot of fun! Emeri loved sitting in the seat and looking out the window! She's such a cutie (and was the star of the show on both the Train and Trax)!  When got off Front Runner and got on to Trax... we got on the wrong Trax, just so you all know when you get off of the Front Runner you will be getting onto a University Trax so if you are trying to get to WVC you need to get off at Gallivan Plaza and get on a Sandy Trax! Just a little FYI! Emeri and I had to learn this the hard way! So after getting on the wrong Trax, back tracking, and finally getting on the right Trax we made it to my sisters safe and sound! It was a good learning experience, and Emeri seemed to really enjoy herself!

Sitting like a big girl in her own chair!

Looking out the window!

On the Trax (this is another reason I was disoriented and didn't realize I was on the wrong Trax until I got all the way up to the U's football stadium) there was a little old Asian lady who moved my diaper bag to sit next to us and asked to hold Emeri! I didn't know what to do... and I didn't know how to say no to a cute little old lady so... I let her hold Emeri! I know I know I let a stranger hold my baby on Trax, but I didn't know what else to do or how to get out of it! She kept telling me how Emeri's baby energy was giving her more energy and helping her feel younger... well that's at least what I thought she was saying... It was kind of hard to understand her! Emeri wasn't sure what to think either! She kept looking at me like "Mom who are you letting hold me?" "Save me please!" Luckily she got off on the next stop and I got Emeri back! If it was any one else on Trax I think I would have had enough courage to say no. but it was a cute old lady!

Antelope Island!

Jill, my little sister, and her boyfriend Troy came up to Layton to hangout with us and they wanted to go to Antelope Island, so we went! I have never been and I have only heard bad thing about it like how bad it smells, how nasty the water is, and how many gross bugs there are, so needless to say I wasn't really that excited to go, but we went! Honestly it wasn't THAT bad, and it was fun hanging out with Jill and Troy! There wasn't a bad smell which was good! There were a ton of bugs, but it's not like they crawl all over you! We only got in the water up to our knees and they have showers to rinse off afterwards! (There were people there in their speedos and bikinis taking a dip and quite a few families swimming with all their kids.  I personally wouldn't get in any further then my knees, but they seemed to be having fun!)

When Jill and I were younger we use to go to the beach all the time since we lived in San Diego, and one of our favorite things to do was to make drip castles with wet sand! We took advantage of the wet sand and had a contest to see who could make the biggest castle just like old times!

It was bright outside! Squint Squint Scowl!

Love you Jill and Troy! : ) Thanks for coming up and hangingout with us!

It's Been Awhile!

Well it's been over 2 months since I blogged last! Life has been pretty busy, but I'm going to try and catch up, so for some of you, some of these blog post will be old news but I still want to put them up! : ) Hope you enjoy!
