Grandma Fun Day

We headed to my mom's the other day for a day full of fun! 

My mom has been planning this "Grandma Fun Day" all summer so we were all excited to go!

The morning started with the slip-and-slide because it was request to be first!

Next on the agenda catapults! 

 That's right catapults! Catapults that shoot marshmallows! They were a big hit! All the kids loved them and Anden loved stealing the marshmallows before they could be shot! Your timing had to be just right or the marshmallow was his! 

As you can tell he loved his marshmallows... maybe a little too much! : ) 

Then we headed inside to make robots with cans, magnets, nuts, and bolts! The kids loved it! They have the best imagination! 

Emeri got to use Sharpies for the first time and got them all over her belly! She loved showing everyone and saying, "uh-oh!"

After robots it was lunch and nap time! 

Once the little kids went down and the older kids were watching a movie Alex and I snuck away to Target without any kids! 

This never happens! 

It was amazing and I had such a good time spending time with just my older sister!

After naps it was time to make onesies for the baby! Look at all these awesome custom onesies the baby will get to sport! So fun! 

We had a very fun day with Grandma, Aunt Alex (she is Emeri's favorite) and all the cousins! 

We need to get together more often!

Emeri really loves playing with them!

Life is just crazy right now! : ( 

I'm sad that I wont be the one watching Alex's kids once a week this school year while she co-ops! That way we get to see them all often, but with a new baby it would be silly to commit to something like that right now! : ( 

Hopefully we can figure something out!
