Red, White, and Blue

Fourth of July:
no work,
ribbons in your hair,
your best red, white, blue attire,

an early morning to find a seat at the parade
squishing bugs,
lots of saltwater taffy
lots of waving,
sparkly floats,
horses,
afternoon nap
family dinner,
city festivities,
swinging,
yummy carnival treats
blankets in the park,
lots of kisses,
hitting a second wind,
acting crazy,
fireworks
and last but not least...
making sure not to forget all those that have served and are serving The USA in your prayers!

That is about how our Fourth of July went! It was fabulous!

Ready for the parade!

Attitude with a capital A!

Squishing bugs!

Family picture, Emeri was not a fan!

Waiting patiently

Here it comes...

waving.

Enjoying the parade!
Funny story... Emeri got a taffy she didn't like so she spit it out, put it on Braeden's arm, and rubbed it into his arm hairs! It was hilarious! Braeden was all sticky and helpless and I couldn't stop laughing to help him! : )

Emeri would have swung all night if we would have let her! She was not happy to be done!

This is what Emeri thought of this picture! : ) hahaha
Perfect timing!

I just love this cute face! I wish she would let me kiss those cheeks 24/7!

Uncle Jon being too cool for school!

Kisses all around!

This is when she hit her second wind and just got crazy!

I don't even know what to say about this picture...?

She was running around with her blanket on her head and entertaining everyone around us!

We had such a good day! I love making memories with my little family! I do miss the family barbecues we use to have every year :( but things have changed, (my parents got divorced) so we get to make our own traditions now! : )
Happy Fourth of July!
